Flipped Lesson - Natural Resources - 10/30/14

We are beginning Earth Science!  Our next few weeks will be spent on natural resources we use from our Earth.  As you watch the video, please take notes on all important information - not just the vocabulary terms.  Look for examples, make connections to your world, and draw diagrams if needed.

Flipped Lesson for 10-23-14

Science Flipped Lesson – We will be taking a test on Monday over light, sound, electricity, force, and motion.  Please review all of these words in your journal.  This is the end of our physical science unit.  We will be completing it with a Force and Motion Competition next week.  Rather than new video vocabulary, study for the test!!!

Flipped Lesson - Electric Circuits



Flipped Lesson for October 2, 2014 – Electric Circuits Our new flipped video comes from our Pearson Science Text Book.


  • Watch the lesson on “Electric Circuits”. 
  • Write down and describe the different vocabulary terms used to describe electricity moving through a circuit. 
  • Draw a diagram of a complete circuit in your journal. Label all of its parts.
  • Describe how and where electricity is used in your home. 
  • Give five examples of electricity being converted into another form of energy in your home.
